Through
a lead gift made by Katie and Ellis Ivory, the Foundation purchased an acre of
residential land in Murray in May of 2001, and Murray City rezoned the property
for our current uses. The land is one block from an entrance to I-215, allowing
families easy access from all parts of the state. It offers the additional amenity
of a green environment with enough space for a landscaped garden. Its other values
include a welcoming neighborhood, good community visibility, and the imminent
presence of a new flagship hospital campus planned for construction in Murray
by Intermountain Health Care.
