In The Workplace
Duckies In The Workplace is our newest addition to the Rubber
Ducky Derby fundraising campaign. It's a program that inspires
workplaces to get as many duckies sponsored as possible
by their employees and friends. Employers love this because
of the unity and great team spirit it generates. All they
need is someone to be their Ducky Wrangler and lead the
ducky drive! More ideas
Want To Get Involved? Be A Ducky Wrangler!
As a Ducky
Wrangler, you: - Promote the Rubber Ducky Derby and sponsorship of duckies
in your office
- Recruit others in your office to get duckies sponsored—they
can ask friends, neighbors, their family, and church or social groups if they
would like to sponsor a ducky
- Collect completed sponsorship forms and
payment from colleagues and customers
- Deliver sponsorship forms to the
Make-A-Wish office and reconcile money with a staff member or dedicated volunteer
Reach For The Stars
Companies that strive to raise $5,000 through
the Duckies In The Workplace campaign will be able to adopt their own special
wish. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Utah will give each of these companies
the name and story of a Utah child whose wish they will grant through their Duckies
In The Workplace campaigns. Workplaces that reach the $5,000 goal will also receive
20 passes to Raging Waters and admission to our VIP tent on the day of the Derby.
Ducky
Sponsors
Great benefits don't just apply to Ducky Wranglers, but
to everyone who sponsors a ducky. For each $5 ducky, sponsors
receive:
- A chance to win a 2007 Summer Yello Chevy Aveo5 hatchback
- A Raging Waters coupon valid through September 3, 2007
(not valid on the 20th of each month, park will be closed
to the public on 7/28/07)
- Many more fun prizes!
- Special coupons from event sponsors
- Your name assigned to a rubber ducky to race in the
Derby
- The satisfaction that you've helped grant the heartfelt
wishes of Utah children with life-threatening medical
conditions
