Nifty 50's Wish Gala

The Nifty 50's Wish Gala held on March 11, 2006 at the Little America Hotel was a GREAT success. Over 550 people attended the event to spend an evening in the past to grant a wish in the future, raising over $178,000! Along with both live and silent auctions, the evening's entertainment featured a dance number starring our very own wish kids, Kaitlin A., Kaitlyn R., Auston, Brandon, Jonathan and Bailie! Jesse and his mother Ali shared the story of Jesse's wish to meet Dora the Explorer. Guests were also able to meet Trinity, whose wish was granted from the Grant-A-Wish portion of the previous year's event. Trinity wished to have her very own playhouse! Dickie and Angel Shannon from the Oldies Station KODJ 94.1 were perfect emcees for this event, and Dickie even came in full Elvis costume! A wonderful time was had by all.
