Spirit Chains
Students create a paper chain in school colors with links sold for $1 each. They can be used to decorate the hallways, gymnasium, or a holiday tree!

Candy-grams
For 50 cents, kids write messages to friends and teachers to be delivered during the day. Each message is accompanied by a piece of candy. "Candy-grams" makes a great valentine fundraiser.

Cut-outs

We offer Make-A-Wish® cut-outs for you to purchase and write names on. The cut-outs can decorate the hallways or cafeteria to celebrate your fundraising. Cut-out example (PDF)

Selling Wristbands
You can purchase a Make-A-Wish® wristband for .25, and then sell them for $2.00!

Penny War

Arrange a contest between grades or homerooms to collect the most amount of pennies. Have prizes such as a "Pig-out Party" with "P" foods: pizza, popcorn, pretzels, potato chips etc. But first find a bank that is willing to count the pennies!

Student/Teacher Games
Organize basketball, softball, volleyball, or flag football between students and teachers. Charge admission and sell refreshments.

Dress-down Day
If your school has a dress code, find out if students pay a small fee to wear casual clothes for the day. Teachers can participate, too!

Dance Marathon
Reserve the school gymnasium and ask a local deejay to donate services. Have students pair up and obtain pledges from relatives and friends.

Pie-in-the-face
What students wouldn't contribute a few dollars to throw a whipped cream pie in their teacher's face? Of course, you have to find some willing teachers!

Chili/Kraut Dinner
Serve chili, kraut, hot dogs, and sodas to raise money for wishes.

Gallon Jar Game
Fill a gallon jar with water, then put a small glass at the bottom with a hole in the lid big enough for a quarter to fit in. One quarter in wins a prize (like a candy bar). Place a jar in each classroom.

Bubblegum Machine
Buy the gum and machine, then tape prizes to gum balls, like homework credits.

Concessions
Sell concessions during lunch time or at a school sporting event. There's nothing better than a cold drink during a hot game!

3-on-3 Basketball
Hold a charity basketball game. Students pay a small fee to participate, and the winning team will receive a fantastic prize!

Car Wash
This activity works best when it's nice and warm outside! Hang posters advertising a car wash in your town. Just be prepared to get really wet and a little dirty!

Fun Run
Your school can hold a mini-marathon with students, teachers, and faculty members participating. Find a relative to sponsor you!

Chuck Your Change
Have students donate their spare pocket change. To make this a school competition, have different containers for the different grades or classes and post the amounts in the school. Whoever wins gets a prize!

Ice Cream Social
This is a great outside activity! Students can pay a small fee to have some ice-cream. You can have other activities going on too!

Water Bottle Sales
Since many schools don't allow soda pop in school, water bottles are the perfect solution! Sell these before and after school, and between classes to give students a wonderful pick-me-up during the day!

Prize Drawing
Have a business donate an item or service to be given away. Sell tickets then hold an assembly to draw the winner!

Auction
Students, teachers, and business can donate items to be auctioned off. You can have to whole community participate, or just your school. This would be a very fun assembly!

Movie Night
Pick a movie to watch and sell drinks, popcorn, and candy, just like at the theater!

School Pep Rally
Students pay $3.00 to attend an action packed, fun filled rally. You can have games, activities, anything you want! The catch is if they students don't attend the rally then they must go to class!
