Team Up For Wishes Gala Benefit and Auction

On March 15th over 500 sports fans gathered at the Salt Lake City Marriott to take part in the annual Team Up For Wishes Gala Benefit and Auction. This event was a smashing success and helped raise over $160,000 for Utah kids. Through the generosity of hundreds of donors a large silent auction kicked-off the evening. Guests had the opportunity to bid on vacations, jewelry, nights out on the town and great sports memorabilia, all while mingling with cheerleaders and mascots.

The evening was hosted by Coach Ron McBride and Coach LaVell Edwards. The pair set a great tone for the evening and kept the audience laughing. A special treat that night was the Salt Lake Community College cheerleaders and wish kids doing a wish cheer for the audience. They generated some great team spirit for the football themed event. During the program guests had the opportunity to meet wish kids Tyson, who wished to meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Jacob, who wished to go to Disney World. Their stories truly inspired all those in attendance. The evening wrapped up with a great live auction. Thank you to all the event sponsors, attendees and volunteers for making this night so special.
