Matching Gifts
Numerous companies offer a matching gifts program, which could double your annual contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah. Check with your company's personnel or accounting department and team up with your employer to create memories that will last forever.

Combined Federal Campaign & United Way Campaign
Federal employees, including members of the Armed Services and Veterans, can make tax-deductible donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah by choosing #5684 on the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) form available through your CFC coordinator. Although we are not a United Way agency that receives general United Way funds, you can designate your United Way contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah,^® by writing in our name in the space provided on your contribution form. Your contributions are later forwarded to us and used to make wishes come true for children with life-threatening conditions.

How to Include the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Your Workplace Giving Program

Holiday Wish Cards
Your clients can receive holiday cards from our Foundation saying how you have helped sponsor a wish. The cards can be mailed according to your organization's preference: you can send us a spreadsheet of names (preferably in Excel) and we can create a mail merge and mail them on your behalf. Alternatively, we can supply you with the desired number of cards and inserts that include the story that your organization has sponsored (or simply a wish story if your gift is less than $1,000).

The wish adoption levels are:

$5,000 Wish Sponsor - We give you the first name of a wish child and a brief description of the story and how you have sponsored that wish. This story is included on the insert that comes with the cards.

$1,000 Wish Partner - We give you the first name of a wish child and a brief description of the story and how you have helped sponsor that wish. (Another organization or group may have also helped to sponsor the same wish, but that takes place "behind the scenes" -in other words we use the word "partner" and how you have "helped" grant that specific wish.) Again, the story is included on the insert that comes with the cards.

Individual cards: cards are available at $10 per card or $5 each for gifts of more than $1000.

Donations can also be made for interoffice holiday gifts. For a minimum donation of $10 per name, we will send a festive card and wish story to your business associates or employer acknowledging the gift you made in their honor to our wish children.

The deadline for this service during the holiday season is two weeks prior to Christmas. If you are a last-minute shopper or wish to personalize your card you may mail the cards yourself with an enclosure of your own.
