I wish to meet... The Lion King

Jonathan had a fantasy wish. He wanted to meet the "Lion King." For Jonathan, "Lion King" seemed to mean anything that was powerful and wonderful and magical. And, exclaimed Jonathan, "When I went to Disney World, I saw lots of Lion Kings!"

Jonathan's wish was hastily planned to allow him a moment of fantasy before a very difficult heart surgery. His mother wrote, "From the moment I first spoke with you and realized that Jonathan qualified as a wish child, I was filled with emotions from all ends of the scale. Even our time at Kid's Village was bittersweet for me. But from Jonathan's perspective, it was one big party. Every morning he awoke with the words, 'Let's go have some fun!!!' And we did!"
