Ryker's Blaze Wish

Ryker, a huge football fan, had the time of his life on his wish day because "he got to do and get everything he wanted." Not only did Ryker meet Utah's own arena football team, the Utah Blaze, he got to spend an entire day with them!

The Blaze treated Ryker and his family and friends to a private showing of "Flushed Away," lunch at his favorite restaurant Costa Vida, followed by a tour and gift presentation at Harley-Davidson of Salt Lake. The fun continued with a shopping spree courtesy of Sam's Club. The day culminated with a huge star raising party with the Blaze and the U of U Football team at A Wishing Place.

Ryker has also been invited by head coach Danny White and the Blaze to participate in the opening coin toss, present the official game ball and be an equipment manager at the Blaze's first home game on March 3, 2007.

Six-year-old Ryker, is battling a rare form of brain cancer for which there is no cure. His wish day was a great way for him to forget about the chemotherapy, radiation and round-the-clock medications and just have fun doing his favorite things with his favorite sports celebrities.
